Understanding the Concept of Fertility.By freeovulationcalendar.net The fertility process starts from intercourse where a reproductive egg is released by a womans ovaries. This is also called as the process of ovulation. The egg then goes to the fallopian tubes to be joined by a sperm cell, which would be coming from a mans reproductive organ. The zygote or the fertilized egg would then go down a womans uterus. It would then stay in the uterine wall and develop for a period of about 10 months. If a woman is still unable to conceive after a full year of having regular intercourse without taking in contraceptives, there is a great possibility that she may be infertile. Infertility is the inability to produce a child. This may be caused by a number of factors. It can be because of a dysfunction in one of your reproductive organs like a blockage in the fallopian tube, genital infections, and endometriosis, among others. If your infertility is physical issue, it is best to consult with your doctor. He can prescribe medications that you can readily purchase from your local drugstore. He can also recommend a healthy diet plan for you to follow. After taking medications prescribed by your doctor to induce conception or after undergoing several fertility programs, but you still experience no significant improvement for your particular situation, your doctor can advise you to undergo an infertility surgery. Discuss with your doctor and your partner such a procedure and decide for yourself if this is the best way to beat infertility and hopefully bear a child in the near future.
