Yes. As a matter of fact, when it was first introduced in the country in 1981, the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) reported that there are more than 91,000 births of babies that are facilitated trough IVF from the year 1985 to 1998. At the end of 1999, the number increased by as much as 177,000 babies that have been conceived by all ART procedures.
