Why Cant I Get Pregnant

by Shola Oslo

For some people, getting pregnant is more of task than one would think. They would find themselves asking the question, "Why can't I get pregnant?" A couple may try for weeks, months, and even years to no avail. This can be due to lifestyle factors, a person's daily consumption, and even personal conflicts that may stress or hinder the ability to get pregnant.

Many couple seeks medical guidance to strengthen their capacity to conceive through fertility drugs or by Assisted Reproductive Technologies like IVF, which regularly ends with long term side effects, miscarriages, frustrations and waste of money.

You would get better results by nurturing and caring for your mental and physical health, and working on activities to build a stronger and closer relationship between you and your partner. The reason I say this is because stress is one of the biggest causes of unexplained infertility, and putting a timetable on your body can make this stress worse.

Stress is not only a feel of nervousness, like how you feel nervous before doing something like a public speaking. It is the pressure in our body both physically and mentally. This pressure may obstruct your fertility by increasing stress stimulating hormones and thereby resulting unhealthy eggs to develop.

So, what causes your body to become stressed, and what can you do about this?

Inadequate nutrition is a common cause of stress to the body, as it has to keep the vital organs working even when there are insufficient vitamins and nutrients needed for specific metabolic processes to take place. When your body isnt given all the nutrients it needs, it is more likely to focus on keeping itself alive than reproducing. As a result, reproductive health and egg quality suffers.

Even people who think that they eat a healthy diet and are consuming everything that they should be could be missing out on vitamin and mineral supplements. The best organic diet does not even contain the nutrition that everyone should have every day, and most vitamin and mineral supplements cannot be fully taken by the body. There is a product called "AlkaGreens Plus" that provides the body with nutrients in the most efficient way.

Another cause of stress is due to lack of rest, as our body restores the repaired tissues, digests and absorbs the nutrients consumed the whole day and to support the egg development and sperm cells. Many people do not obtain proper rest and even if slept for 8 or 9 hours a day, they sleep in a bright room or noisy area, such as close to a busy road or flight passage. Frequent complaints from my clients are they are unable to control their mind babbling during night even if they are sleeping. They do not have a deep or peaceful sleep and do not feel waken fresh.

The advice I can give is that you provide yourself with a suitable sleeping atmosphere. Make sure you are sleeping in a dark room with minimal electronics running. Even a digital clock may subconsciously cause a person to loose deep sleep. Try to avoid noise caused by a nearby roadway or airplane route. Sometimes even when you think that these noises are not effecting you, they in fact are. To close your mind and achieve a deep sleep, listen to "Quantum Relaxation" CD's before you go to bed. This will deeply relax your brain putting it in a meditative state.
